Had the wonderful opportunity to work on this project. Nike was updating their app wanted to create a video for the app store that showed the new layout. I was tasked with animating the user interface and the idea was to show a user clicking through to make a purchase, and how that purchase can be made with Apple Pay. This was one of a handful of experiences animating UI. It’s different than that of common motion design tasks, in that, you have to mimic natural movements, like scrolls and swipes. Being that technology has ingrained a subconscious expectation of how user experience should be, there is less room for error.
