Lakewood Church: Christmas Service

I was asked to come up with a video that played during a portion of the Christmas Service at Lakewood Church. I wanted to create a piece that felt like an actual storybook. While I was researching I stumbled across the work of Yusuke Oono and was very much inspired to bring his physical creation into the digital world, but with a Christmas spin. Studying his designs, I illustrated images depicting angels, a nativity scene, and other various Christmas related imagery, including some hand lettering from another designer on the project. Once the designs were finalized, I brought them into Cinema 4D to create the 3D digital version of its real-life inspiration. After the various scenes were animated, they were cut together and finalized in After Effects.
