Main Title Opener Animation: Justin Brown
I was approached to help out with animating a series opener for Food Network’s digital platforms. The series takes a look at food cultures from around the world and gives food lover’s a look inside cuisine from other places. The direction was to give it a cut-out/stop motion feel. I especially loved this style of animating because stop motion has a very choppy, imperfect rhythm to it, so the focus on animating smooth movement is less strict. I can keep things loose and not so refined, and it actually makes for a more successful piece.
